The management and staff of Zakynthos Hospital welcome you to our new website!

The General Hospital of Zakynthos “SAINT DIONYSIOS” is part of the Greek National Health System, subject to the 6th Healthcare District Administration and provides primary and secondary healthcare, equally to all citizens, regardless of their economic, social and professional status.

Zakythos Hospital is located just 3 km. away from the town of Zakynthos, in Gaitani, in a modern building since summer of 2012 when it was transferred from the old hospital.

It serves both Zakynthians and guests who during the summer months are overwhelming the beautiful island of Zakynthos.

Zakynthos Mental Health Center (co-located with Katastari Health Center) is also under Zakynthos Hospital operational responsibility.

On this website we have tried to include all the useful information both for those requiring our hospital services as well as for the hospital employees.

We hope that our new website will serve as a tool supporting the right information of the citizen-patient as well as the hospital staff, so that with everyone’s cooperation we will achieve provisioning of high-quality health services.
